So, Let’s Begin….

Wagah-Border

If you are an Indian, you must be already aware of this. This is the most beautiful border which is famous among all Indian tourists. It is a must-see place in Punjab in 2 days. The ceremony of Beating Retreat and Change of Guard make this place highly valued. You see an incredible zeal and nationalist energy on both sides.

Waga Border Japji Travel

The soldiers of both nations show their genuine energy for possessing the nation. This diversion function includes a show of the extremely enthusiastic feel of the armed forces for their particular states. It is located at a distance of 28 km from Amritsar. You can hire private cars, Tempo Travellers or Minibus from Tempo Traveller Hire or you can book a 2-day tour also. Booking is Available from Delhi.

Jallianwala Bagh

It is a site of one of the dark events during the independence struggle. As you must be aware almost 1100 peaceful protesters were killed by the British troops in open fire. Today, we go to visit this site to remember the great souls who sacrificed their lives. It is a must-see place in Punjab in two days.

Golden Temple

Golden Temple or Shri Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurudwara of the Sikh religion. You get an amazing feeling here. It is hidden in the middle of four long walls made up of white marble. you can not see this temple until you pass the first gate.

while circling the temple you constantly hear rhythms and chants of the religious leaders reciting the holy book from the inside of the temple. When these chants from the holy book enter into your head, they Calm you down. If you want to feel peace just sit along the edge of the tank or under the shady arches that surround the golden temple and close your eyes for some time. It’s my favourite and a must-see place in Punjab in two days.

It is not enough to take a visit to this temple without taking the dine in the langar hall known as Guru Ka Langar. Almost 75,000 to 80,000 people each day go to eat the food prepared and served by the volunteers or Sevadars, preparing the food and sharing, means the equality of human beings. Tempo Traveller Hire offers weekend Tours in North India from Delhi.

Akal Takht

‘Akal’ means timeless ( used for Almighty), and ‘Takht’ means a throne, where kings and emperors used to sit. So, Akal-Takht means a seat of the Almighty. It is a part of a religious complex of the Golden Temple, situated near a tank (pool) that leads to the Golden Temple. A must-see place in Punjab in the monsoon in two days

It was founded by the sixth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Govind Sahib Ji in 1609 assisted by the Baba Budha Ji and Bhai Gurdas Ji. Guru Har Govind Sahib Ji used to hold his court here to discuss Political Affairs and also listen to the problems of citizens.

It was badly damaged during an operation done by the Indian Army in 1984 and the operation is known as Operation-BlueStar, but it was rebuilt thereafter.  It is one of the best spiritual places to visit while visiting the Golden Temple.
