Delhi is the departure point for this trip in the morning. You will want to prepare for a nice journey to Manali which will take around 12-14 hours. Beautiful valleys, mountain ranges and rivers adorning the waterways make the journey very enjoyable. On this route, you will also find beautiful towns like Mandi and Kullu.
Since it will be evening by the time you reach Manali, you will check in to your hotel and go to sleep in no time. You will spend this day relaxing in the calm and peaceful environment of Manali.
After breakfast, the whole day is spent exploring beautiful and thrilling places in Manali, the first of which is Solang Valley, which is an ideal place for adventure lovers. Here you can do a variety of activities like paragliding, skiing and zorbing (depending on the season), among others. In winter, if you are in Solang, there are a lot of snow activities in Solang Valley.
If you open the Rohtang Pass, you will get to see the amazing view of the snow-clad mountains. This is because Rohtang is more known for its panoramic views and the trip to Rohtang is much more than Rohtang.
Now that we have dealt with Rohtang, we will go on a trip to Hadimba Temple, which is another historical temple, built in a unique architectural style and located amidst beautiful deodar trees. Other places include Vashisht Temple, which has hot water springs that are believed to be curative.
As it gets dark and the day draws to a close, you can take a stroll along Mall Road, the main shopping hub of Manali, and later you will find yourself eating or looking for some souvenirs.
After breakfast, you will depart from Manali towards Shimla. The journey from Manali to Shimla takes around 7-8 hours while passing through some beautiful towns, lovely apple farms and forested areas.
After reaching Shimla stay at the hotel as check-in will be done. This will be the last activity of the day. Shimla has cool weather and many colonial-style buildings which give a good feeling of relaxation after a long drive.
The program for the 5 days of the tour will include a tour of Shimla and its surrounding areas. You will enjoy breakfast, after which you will head towards a small hill station located about 17 km from Shimla. Everyone knows that the only thing that attracts tourists to this area is not the comfortable cool weather and beautiful nature, the ski resorts around Deeg offer other entertainment as well and they include horse riding.
When finished with Kufri entertainment, the group will head back to Shimla and walk around Mall Road and The Ridge. Mall Road is a centralized part of Shimla, full of restaurants, shops, and ancient structures, so it seems to be the busiest place in the city. Here, you can stroll around, buy souvenirs with embroidery on the hills, or have a drink while admiring the hills.
Then the group goes to Jakhu Temple, located at the highest point in Shimla and offering a 360-degree view of the city along with the mountains. This temple is of Lord Hanuman who is worshipped by many people in Shimla city, so this temple has a lot of importance.
This evening you can visit the Christ Church located in the heart of the city, which is one of the oldest churches in North India. This is because it has wonderful stained glass windows and a calm atmosphere which makes it one of the recommended places to visit in Shimla.
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, you will vacate the room and start your return journey to Delhi. It takes around 8-9 hours to get back to Delhi, which gives you enough time to relish the wonderful experiences you have acquired during the trip.
By the end of the day, you will have reached Delhi and thus the 5-day Manali Shimla tour will come to an end.
